Release notes

Videorc 0.17.2 Beta 1

Every page now opens at its top, so Studio's live preview no longer hides after you scroll another page. The first Clips session after setup starts cleanly, and the menus, dialogs and controls now run on a new component base.

Studio's preview stays in view

  • Every page opens at its top, so Studio's live preview no longer hides after you scroll down on Scene.
  • After first-run setup, the Clips replay ring waits for the screen preview instead of being refused.
  • Menus, dialogs, sliders and toggles are rebuilt on Base UI, with the same look.

Fixes

  • Switching pages no longer carries the previous page's scroll position. Every page opens at its top, so Studio's docked live preview stays visible after you scroll down to the canvas on Scene.
  • When first-run setup closes, the Clips replay ring now waits for the screen preview to produce frames, so the first session starts instead of being refused.
  • Stopping the preview now leaves its status stopped; a late frame report can no longer bring it back.

Under the hood

  • Videorc's menus, dialogs, popovers, sliders, toggles and other controls are rebuilt on Base UI. They look and work as before; Shift+D still flips the theme.
