Videorc is an open-source desktop studio. macOS is in beta; Windows 11 x64 and Linux are separately gated alphas. Premium pays for server-backed tools only where the selected platform supports them.
Why there's a Premium at all
We could have taken funding and made the recorder the product. Instead the recorder is free, and the subscription covers exactly the things that cost us money to run.
The studio is free, forever
The supported local recorder, scenes, camera, mic, and library have no watermarks or trials. macOS Beta and Windows Alpha publish separate capability promises instead of pretending every device is identical.
The servers are not
Live captions, Orcle, and cloud AI run on real infrastructure; that is what Premium pays for. Multistreaming runs on your machine and is free on every plan. Windows Alpha users see availability before checkout.
Premium ships the roadmap
Every subscription funds the next release of the free studio — the capture engine, native preview, and editor improvements land for everyone, not behind the paywall.

- Live captions on your stream and recording, with a synced .srt. (early alpha)
- Orcle Live (alpha): your AI producer in every stream. It catches questions, drafts replies you approve, and flags spam and abuse. Orcle voice commands put a comment on stream or remove it when you ask. It never acts on its own
- Clean cut: stop recording, and the edited version is already there. Silences, ums, and retakes removed, within a monthly allowance
- Noise cleanup: a cleaner-sounding copy of your recordings, made on your computer

A recorder sees your screen, your camera, and your mic. That's too much access to ask anyone to take on faith.
Your recordings stay yours
Videorc is local-first: recordings live on your computer, not on our servers. An account is only needed for the features that genuinely require one.
Nothing to hide
The app that captures your screen, camera, and mic is public code. Read it, audit it, build it yourself — trust shouldn't require faith.
