Release notes

Videorc 0.9.145 Beta 1

Save a Screen file and a Camera file beside your Combined recording, so you can edit and mix them on their own.

Separate Screen and Camera recordings

  • Separate source recordings also save a Screen file with the system audio and a Camera file with the microphone, beside the Combined recording.
  • The Library groups the files from one recording and labels each one.
  • The Stream Manager's stats bar no longer shows the stream health readout.

Separate source recordings

Turn on Separate source recordings in Output → Local recording. Each recording then also saves a Screen file, the screen or window you captured with the system audio track, and a Camera file with the microphone track, beside the Combined recording and at the same size. Put them on separate tracks in your editor and move, crop or mix them however you like. A source that's off records as silence.

The preview, the Combined recording and your streams stay composed exactly as before. The switch needs local recording, a camera and a screen or window; without them the session records the Combined file only, and the setting tells you why. It's off by default and free for everyone.

Writing three 4K files at once is heavy. If the Screen or Camera file stutters, record at a smaller size.

Library

The files from one recording show together, each labelled Screen, Camera or Combined.

Stream Manager

The stats bar no longer shows the stream health dot and bitrate. Session time, viewers and followers keep their places, and a failed destination still shows in Activity.
