Release notes

Videorc 0.9.144 Beta 1

Put your own images anywhere on the picture, call Buddy on screen by voice, and keep the chat on the newest message while you're live.

Your own banners, and a steadier live stream

  • Banners put your own images, like a logo or a sponsor, anywhere on the picture, and you show or hide them while live.
  • Say "Buddy, show up" to put Buddy on stream, and the Stream Manager tells you when Buddy isn't on stream.
  • The live chat stays on the newest message until you scroll up yourself.
  • Questions like End livestream never open behind the docked preview.
  • Clean cut lists your recordings with their poster frames.

Banners

Import a PNG, JPEG or WebP in Assets → Banners and place it anywhere on the picture from the Scene page. Transparency is kept, and the inspector tells you when an image will look soft at the size you gave it. The vertical stream gets its own position for each banner.

Show and hide banners from the Scene page, the Stream Manager's Banners menu, /banner in the chat composer, ⌘K, a Stream Deck key, the phone remote, or by asking Buddy. Up to four show at once. A banner can hide itself after a while, or come back every few minutes for sponsor rotation. Banners are free for everyone.

Buddy on stream

Say "Buddy, show up" or "Buddy, come on screen" to put Buddy on the stream, and "Buddy, hide" or "Buddy, go away" to take it off. While you're live with Buddy on but not on stream, Buddy's pane in the Stream Manager says so, with a Show on stream button.

When Videorc AI doesn't answer for a moment, Buddy now says it's retrying instead of looking stopped.

Live chat

New messages appear at the bottom and the chat stays with them. Only your own scroll up stops it, and Buddy marking a message you're talking about no longer moves the list. While you read back, a chip shows how many messages are new and takes you back to the newest one.

Docked preview

Confirmations such as End livestream, right-click menus, hover cards and notifications no longer open behind the docked preview. The preview steps aside while they're open. Your recording and stream keep going.

Clean cut

Buddy's Clean cut lists your recordings as rows with their poster frame, length and when they ran, so you can tell them apart. Search appears once you have more than six.
