Release notes
Videorc 0.9.129 Beta 1
Videorc checks YouTube viewer and subscriber counts less often and counts every YouTube request toward its daily budget, so YouTube chat lasts through long streams. Other platforms' viewer counts keep updating every minute.
YouTube uses less of its daily limit
- Videorc checks YouTube viewers every 2 minutes and subscribers every 5 minutes, saving YouTube's daily limit for chat.
- Twitch, Kick and X viewer counts keep updating every minute instead of waiting for YouTube.
- Every YouTube request, including scheduled streams and retries, now counts toward Videorc's daily YouTube budget.
YouTube uses less of its daily limit
YouTube gives Videorc a shared daily limit for chat, viewer counts and going live. Videorc now checks YouTube viewer counts every 2 minutes and subscriber counts every 5 minutes, so more of that limit is left for chat during long streams.
Every request Videorc makes to YouTube now counts toward its daily budget, including scheduled streams, sign-in checks, retries and the steps that end a broadcast. When the limit is close, Videorc's pause notice is accurate instead of arriving late.
Viewer counts on other platforms
The slower YouTube schedule used to hold back viewer counts from Twitch, Kick and X too. Each platform now updates on its own, and the others still refresh every minute.
