Release notes
Videorc 0.9.127 Beta 1
When YouTube's daily limit runs out, Videorc pauses YouTube extras with one clear notice and resumes on its own. Highlighted comments show avatars and emotes, and Go Live reads Streaming with a ticking clock.
YouTube keeps working on busy days, and highlights that look right
- YouTube chat no longer stops mid-stream on busy days. If YouTube's daily limit runs out, Videorc pauses YouTube extras with one notice and resumes on its own.
- Highlighted comments on stream show the viewer's avatar and their emotes.
- Going live reads "Streaming", and the session clock ticks.
- Activity shows which follow, sub or raid is on stream right now.
- Clearer window glass in dark and light, and a Microphone section in Studio with an always-on level.
YouTube on busy days
YouTube chat could stop partway through a stream and stay on "reconnecting". Videorc now asks YouTube for new chat far less often. If YouTube's daily limit for Videorc is used up, YouTube chat, viewer and subscriber counts pause with one notice that says when they come back, and they resume on their own. Your stream keeps going the whole time.
- Stopping a stream never blocks your next recording or stream.
- If YouTube can't create the broadcast when you go live, Videorc offers your stream key instead, and your other destinations go live as usual.
- Connecting YouTube during a pause shows one clear message instead of a pile of error popups.
Highlighted comments look right
A comment you highlight on stream now shows the viewer's profile picture and their Twitch, 7TV and Kick emotes, in the horizontal and vertical stream and in the recording. Animated emotes show as a still image.
Going live says Streaming
Going live used to show "Recording" and a clock stuck at 0:00. Studio now reads "Streaming", with a Rec badge when you also record, and the clock ticks. The Stream Manager shows ON AIR with stream health, and "Open Stream Manager when I go live" opens it again.
Activity shows what is on stream
When you put a follow, sub or raid on stream from Activity, its row shows On stream and its menu offers Remove from stream. If Activity is behind a tab, the tab shows a dot while the item is on stream.
Microphone in Studio
Studio has a Microphone section with the microphone picker and a level that runs whenever Studio is open. The level shows what your recording gets, so raising Gain moves it and muting flattens it.
Clearer glass
Window glass is a clean, deep blur under one tint per region, in dark and light themes. Menus and dialogs are flat, solid panels.
Smaller changes
- Your own messages on X show the Host badge, as they already did on YouTube, Twitch and Kick.
- X chat avatars are sharper.
