Release notes

Videorc 0.9.125 Beta 1

Livestream setup now reads in plain words, the microphone preview shows your real level again, and Screen and Camera each open their list in one click.

A clearer Livestream setup, and a mic preview that works

  • Livestream cards say "Sign in" or "Stream key", show one status per account, and "Ready to go live" names anything that still needs attention.
  • The microphone waveform in Sources and the Studio mixer shows your real level again.
  • Studio has separate Screen and Camera rows, and each opens its list in one click.
  • The sidebar update chip reads "Restart to update" instead of cutting off.
  • If the Videorc window ever stops drawing, it reloads by itself.

Livestream setup in plain words

Each destination card now asks how you want to connect: Sign in or Stream key. A signed-in account is one row with your avatar, name and one status. When something needs you, the card says "Needs reconnect" and offers Reconnect.

The right column is now Ready to go live. It names each destination that is not ready and opens its card when you click it. Quality, upload needed and disk use are stated once, and the technical details are folded away until you want them.

A microphone preview that works

The live waveform in Sources and the idle bars in the Studio mixer were flat for every Mac microphone, and Sources blamed permission. Both show your real level again, and the message names the actual cause when a preview cannot start. Plugging a microphone in or out retries the preview.

Screen and Camera in one click

Studio Inputs has separate Screen and Camera rows. Each row is the list itself: Screen shows your screens and windows under their own headings, and Camera starts with Off. Choosing Off for the camera now sticks.

Smaller fixes

  • The sidebar update chip reads "Restart to update" and no longer truncates.
  • Settings section headings no longer carry icons.
  • If the Videorc window stops drawing, it reloads by itself. If that keeps happening, Videorc asks whether to reload or quit.
