Your microphone survives a busy Mac, and your stream stops echoing

  • Your microphone keeps going when your Mac gets busy mid-stream. At worst a moment of audio drops, never the rest of the stream.
  • System audio pauses itself when your own stream plays on this Mac and echoes back, with one click to resume.
  • The System audio hint no longer suggests headphones stop that echo, and a switch in Sources turns the pause off.
  • Live streaming in 4K30 on YouTube and at 1080p60 is free on every plan.

Your microphone stays on when your Mac gets busy

Opening something heavy mid-stream, such as a site with its own live video player, could make Videorc fall behind writing audio for a few seconds. After that, it stopped using your microphone for the rest of the session, even though the microphone was fine.

Videorc now keeps your microphone. At most, the moment it fell behind is silent, and your voice is back as soon as it catches up. If a noticeable stretch of audio drops, Videorc says so, and it tells you when the microphone is back.

System audio stops your own stream from echoing

If you watch your own stream on this Mac, for example in a Twitch tab, while System audio is on, Videorc also captures that tab and sends it back into your stream. Viewers then hear every word again a few seconds later. Headphones don't prevent this: System audio records what apps play, not what your speakers play.

Videorc now listens for your own voice coming back through System audio. When it hears it, it pauses System audio, keeps your microphone going, and shows Paused with a Resume button. Mute the tab, then press Resume. To turn this off, use Pause System audio if your stream echoes back under Sources → System audio.

4K and 1080p60 streaming on every plan

Live streaming quality is no longer a Premium feature. Every plan can stream in 4K30 to YouTube and at 1080p60, within what each platform accepts. Premium keeps cloud AI, live captions, Orcle and Noise Cleanup.
