Videorc 0.9.119 Beta 1

Turn System audio on in Studio and Videorc records and streams what your Mac plays, with a live meter, mid-session switch, shortcut, phone remote and Stream Deck action. Default stays Off.

System audio on or off

  • A System audio switch in the Studio mixer and Studio inputs puts your Mac's sound into recordings and every stream leg.
  • Turn it on or off any time, including mid-session; a live meter shows the level, and Sources → Audio mixer has a gain slider.
  • Bind a global shortcut, use the phone remote, or a Stream Deck action to toggle System audio without leaving your stream.
  • Needs Screen Recording permission (same grant as display capture). When permission is missing or capture fails, the row says so and the session keeps going.
  • Default is Off. Your own microphone stays separate, and Videorc's own UI sounds stay out of the capture.

System audio on or off

Videorc never captured what your Mac was playing. The old System Audio mixer row was only a placeholder and was removed earlier. This Beta puts a real System audio switch in Studio.

Turn it On and recordings and every stream leg include the computer's sound: browser tabs, games, music, calls, whatever is playing. Turn it Off and only your microphone (and other sources you chose) stay in the mix. The default is Off, so nothing changes until you flip the switch.

You can flip it mid-session. The Studio mixer shows a live meter while System audio is on. Sources → Audio mixer adds a gain slider (default −6 dB). If Screen Recording permission is missing, or capture cannot start, the row tells you in plain words and the session keeps going without system audio.

Shortcut, phone and Stream Deck

Bind Turn system audio on/off in Settings → Global shortcuts, toggle it from the phone remote on Wi-Fi, or map a Stream Deck action. You never have to leave the stream to change it.

What stays out

Your microphone is still its own row. Videorc's own interface sounds and Orcle's voice are kept out of System audio capture, so turning it on does not feed the app back into itself.
