- The LCD level meter now turns amber and red as the level gets hot.

Five more live backgrounds
Assets → Backgrounds now has ten live backgrounds. The five new ones are Beams, Color Bends, Dither, Ferrofluid and Ghost Fibers, from React Bits by David Haz.
Each one has three looks. Click a tile to apply it, then use Adjust style to change its colours and motion. The same background shows in your preview, in your recording and on your stream.
They are free for everyone. If your Mac is struggling, Videorc draws a live background at a smaller size first, then falls back to a still poster, so your recording keeps its frame rate.
Level meter colours
The LCD level meter now turns amber and then red as your level gets hot, and the held peak, the digits and the CLIP flag follow, so a loud microphone no longer looks like a quiet one. It also sits on the app's glass, and Studio no longer shows dB numbers.
Retro LCD
There is a new Retro LCD switch in Settings → General → Appearance. It is off by default. When it is on, each Studio section is drawn as one LCD screen, the Microphone, Screen and Camera dropdowns become LCD rows, and every level meter is the LCD meter. When it is off, the Studio looks the way it did before.
