Release notes
Videorc 0.10.0 Beta 1
Buddy now greets chatters and talks on its own, with built-in greetings and AI-written ones when you allow Cloud AI, and live backgrounds now move on the live stream too.
Buddy greets and talks on its own
- Buddy greets new and returning chatters, follows, subs and raids with built-in lines, no setup.
- With Premium and Cloud AI, Buddy writes those greetings in its own voice.
- Buddy can answer an unanswered question from your notes.
- Live backgrounds now move on the live stream, not only in Studio and the recording.
Buddy talks on its own
Buddy now greets people in your chat without you writing a line first. Every kind has a built-in greeting: first-time chatters get "Hi {name}, welcome to the stream!", returning chatters get "Welcome back, {name}!", and follows, subs, raids and the rest have their own short line. Edit any of them, or switch one off, in Buddy → Chat → Greetings.
With Videorc Premium and Cloud AI on, Buddy writes those greetings in its own voice. Your line is the example and the fallback if the AI can't write one. The Stream Manager chip says Greetings on · AI when that's allowed.
Buddy can also answer a question nobody has answered after a minute, when your notes have the answer. Turn Answers on in Buddy → Chat if it was off.
Nothing goes to your chat unless you choose: posting stays Off until you set it to Suggest or Auto in the Stream Manager.
Live backgrounds on stream
Live backgrounds now move on the live stream, not only in Studio and the recording. A 4K 60 fps session, or a stream above 1080p 60, still shows a still frame and says so, as before.
