Orcle can now hear you for the whole live stream, even with captions off. Say "clip that" to mark a moment, see what you're talking about and what you promised, get a nudge to greet new chatters, and have your post-stream pack made for you.
Orcle hears you
- Turn on "Orcle hears you while you're live" and Orcle follows what you say, even with captions off.
- Say "clip that" or press Mark clip to mark the last 30 seconds; your marks come first in Publish → Clips.
- Orcle shows the current topic, puts on-topic questions first and reminds you of what you promised on stream.
- Say hi lists first-time chatters you haven't greeted yet.
- After a recorded stream Orcle heard, your Publish pack makes itself, with real chapter timestamps.
Orcle hears you
Orcle used to know only what was in chat, or what you said while live captions were on. Turn on Orcle hears you while you're live in Settings → Orcle, or answer the card the first time you open Orcle, and it follows what you say for the whole stream, with captions on or off.
Your microphone audio goes to Videorc's cloud speech-to-text to be turned into text. Videorc's servers don't keep it, and the transcript is saved with your recording on this computer. Silence is never sent, for captions too. Listening has its own monthly allowance, shown under the switch, and a Listening indicator tells you in plain words when Orcle can't hear you. Listening never blocks or stops a recording or stream.
Clip that
Say "clip that", or press Mark clip in the Stream Manager, to mark the last 30 seconds. You can also set a shortcut for it in Settings → Shortcuts, or send it from the phone remote or a Stream Deck. Your marks show first in Publish → Clips. A mark needs Record on; with Record off, nothing is saved and Videorc tells you why.
Orcle's regular check
Orcle's check now hears you as well as chat. It shows what you're talking about and marks the questions that are on topic, sorted first. When you promise something on stream, like a giveaway at 100 viewers or a Q&A in ten minutes, Orcle keeps it under Promises and reminds you when the moment comes, or after 20 minutes. When a viewer asks what they missed, a recap card is ready; Post to chat puts it in the chat box for you to edit, and never sends it by itself. The chat label that read "Orcle listening" now reads "Orcle is reading chat".
Say hi and quiet moments
Say hi lists first-time chatters you haven't greeted. Say their name, reply in chat, put their comment on stream or tick them off by hand, and they leave the list. If you go quiet for 20 seconds while a question or a new chatter is waiting, Orcle gives you a private nudge. It never does while you are muted.
Your pack, made for you
After a recorded stream that Orcle heard, your Publish pack runs once on its own and a toast offers Open Publish. Chapters get real timestamps from what you said, and the transcript is saved with the recording as subtitles, even with captions off. Turn this off with Make my post-stream pack automatically in Publish.
