One Go Live can now send your horizontal scene to YouTube, Twitch and X while your saved vertical scene streams to TikTok, Instagram and a second portrait YouTube broadcast - a real 9:16 composition of your sources, never a crop of the landscape picture.

Stream horizontal and vertical at once, with TikTok and Instagram

  • New destinations - TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Vertical, a second portrait broadcast on the same channel.
  • Vertical destinations get their own 9:16 composition from your saved vertical scene while landscape destinations keep the horizontal scene.
  • Up to 5 destinations across both orientations on every plan, and a destination that fails only stops its own stream.
  • The Go Live confirmation estimates the upload bandwidth for both legs and walks you through Instagram's "Go live" step.

Two orientations from one Go Live

  • Horizontal and vertical at the same time. Keep streaming your landscape scene to YouTube, Twitch and X, and add vertical destinations to the same session. Videorc composes the vertical picture from your saved vertical scene - camera on top, split, camera only, whichever you set up in the vertical Studio mode - using the same sources, so nothing is cropped or letterboxed.
  • Vertical stream monitor. While a vertical destination is armed, the Studio shows the vertical scene beside the mixer with its Armed or Live state, so you always know what the portrait audience sees.
  • Two encodes, not six. Every landscape destination shares one encode and every vertical destination shares the other, so the cost of going wide is your upload bandwidth, not your CPU. The Go Live confirmation shows the estimated Mbps across all legs before you start.

TikTok and Instagram

  • TikTok and Instagram cards join the destination list. Both use a stream key from the platform: TikTok LIVE Center for accounts with LIVE access, Instagram Live Producer for professional accounts. Keys change every broadcast, and the card links you to the right place each time.
  • Instagram publishes on its side. Start streaming in Videorc first, then press "Go live" in Live Producer once it shows your picture. The Go Live confirmation reminds you of this step.
  • YouTube Vertical is a second broadcast on your existing YouTube account that advertises the portrait profile, so YouTube treats it as a vertical live.
  • Neither TikTok nor Instagram offers a public chat feed, so the Comments window says so instead of pretending: watch their chat in their app while you stream.

Good to know

  • Live captions burned into the stream and vertical streaming cannot run together yet. Set captions to Off or Recording while a vertical destination is armed.
  • Edit the vertical scene in the vertical Studio mode; going live from the horizontal mode uses the last vertical scene you saved.
