Change sources while you record or stream, plus Upcoming streams

  • Change your camera, microphone, display or window while recording or streaming, without restarting.
  • The Chat window stays readable at narrow widths and always shows how many people are watching.
  • The Streaming tab now has an Upcoming workspace for scheduled YouTube events.
  • Public YouTube account connection remains paused pending Google approval; scheduling is available only in authorized verification builds.
  • Scheduled events never start automatically; the broadcaster chooses when to go live.

Change sources without stopping

Pick a different camera, microphone, display or window while you are recording, streaming or both. Your recording keeps going and your stream stays connected. Videorc shows the change as pending until the new source is really on screen or in your mix, and tells you if a device could not be switched so you can retry. Choosing no microphone records deliberate silence instead of stopping the audio.

A Chat window that fits

Make the Chat window as narrow as you like. The viewer count stays on one line, highlight position, keep on top and Clear view move into a menu when space runs out, and Orcle shows its status as a dot you can hover.

Upcoming streams

The Streaming tab now includes an Upcoming workspace. In a verification build with YouTube connection enabled, you can prepare an event with a title, description, thumbnail, time, privacy and audience setting; keep its watch link after restart; and edit, duplicate or cancel it. Selecting an event prepares its matching destination. The scheduled time never starts broadcasting by itself: you choose Go Live and later Stop.

Public builds cannot connect a YouTube account yet. Google approval is still pending, so the event workflow is available only to authorized verification builds. The Upcoming workspace reports that limitation. Existing manual RTMP setup remains the public path for YouTube streaming.
