Saved scenes, smoother Freeform editing, and cleaner scene switches
- Save complete scenes and apply them from Scene or Studio, including while recording.
- Drag and resize sources smoothly in Freeform, with optional snapping and easier small-source handles.
- Switch scenes without diagnostic flashes, and keep separate framing for each layout.
- Find sources with search and keep removed backgrounds removed after restarting.
- Set your own global layout shortcuts in Settings.
Save a scene and return to it
Save your sources, layout, framing, background and visual settings as a scene. Apply it from the Scene controls or Studio gallery, including while recording. Videorc checks that the saved sources are available before switching. Changes to your working scene remain available after restarting the app.
Smoother Freeform editing
Move and resize sources with smoother motion and a stable position when you let go. Freeform starts with snapping off; turn Snap on when you want alignment guides. Small sources are easier to grab, aspect-locked resizing is more predictable, and the cleaner canvas controls match the rest of Videorc.
Cleaner switching and simpler setup
- Scene switches no longer show diagnostic flashes or placeholder blocks.
- Resizing the preview keeps its video surface available while the new size is presented.
- Each layout remembers its own framing when you switch away and come back.
- Search the source picker and keep the source list open while selecting sources.
- Remove a background and keep it removed after restarting.
- Configure global layout shortcuts in Settings.
